PRAISE THE LORD!!!
As of this morning, I am officially giong to be a licensed PTA by the state of Florida. I passed my state boards!!! Praise Jesus! And conveniently the job I have been waiting on to open up here at the hospital has FINALLY opened up as of yesterday! Application is already submitted and PRAYERS ARE NEEDED! This is full time, which is not really what I wanted, but it has benefits so I can't really turn it down if it's offered. Plus its a whopping 3 miles from home. I feel like everything is falling into place right now, so please pray that it continues to!

Ayla 17 months old
I decided to take a few new pictures of Ayla, since the ones I took two months ago seem so outdated, as she has changed SO MUCH since then! I took these spur of the moment yesterday afternoon :) you can click on each image to make it larger.

One down, one to go!
Well, on October 3, 2012 I took my Florida Laws Jurisprudence Exam, and I passed it with flying colors! That is one big relief. Now I just have to tackle my National Physical Therapy Assistant Exam on October 30th. Please pray for me to have a clear mind, and be at peace. As much as possible at least. I have been so busy lately I'm sorry I haven't updated this often. I am going to start posting on here more and more as I have more free time. I wanted to keep everyone updated and ask for continued prayers. Thank you so much!

Opportunity is knocking...
I need all the prayers I can get over the next few weeks please! I am registered to take my Florida Laws Jurisprudence Exam on October 3, and am registered to take my Physical Therapy Boards Exam on October 30th. Continued prayers that I pass both exams and find ample time to study is appreciated. Also, a friend of mine contacted me yesterday about a full time PTA postition that is being created at Shands hospital right here in Live Oak. Praise the LORD! I have been waiting and checking their website to see the job posting listed. When it does, I am most definitely applying. My resume is ready. Please pray that if this is God's will, that it will work out for me! Ayla and myself are both currently uninsured, and a full time job with benefits is exactly what I need. Another plus, it is only 4 days a week instead of 5. :-) Which is awesome. I will keep everyone posted. Just please continue to keep us in your prayers. This could be the big door of opportunity I have been waiting for! Thanks everyone for all your support!

Nerves need prayers!
Please continue to lift us up in prayer. I have alot of stress on me lately. Just mailed off my official transcripts to the State of Florida today, so I can sit for boards in October. It's been hard for me to find time to study, and look for potential jobs with having Ayla, and I love spending all this time with her, but at the same time it is stressful, because I also have to take a Florida Laws exam on top of the board exam, and I do not know how soon I will have to take the Laws exam, and have yet to be able to study for it. The only way to study is to print off the 84 pages of the Florida Laws from the Department of Health website, and read through those 84 pages of legal mumbo jumbo and TRY to make sense out of it. So I'm extrememly stressed, and feel like valuable time is being wasted, so please keep me in your prayers. Josh and I have also been presented with the opportunity to possibly purchase a home soon....so I really need to study, pass all my tests, and get a job ASAP in order to make this even remotely possible. If it is in God's will, I know everything will work out, but I'm still a worry wart, I can't help it. I get it honest. :) Just wanted to touch base, and ask for prayers. I will post again soon, with pictures next time. hope all is well with everyone, and if you need your own prayers feel free to email me! I will do the same for you and yours! "For where two or three come together in my name, there am I with them." Matthew 18:20

A New Beginning
Hi everyone! This is a new idea of mine, outside of facebook, for only close family and friends. Our family blog will include what's happening in our life, pictures, videos etc, and facebook will be LESS of that. This blog is meant to be more intimate, including stuff that I would not put on facebook. Hope it goes over well and everyone follows along with us! In addition to this new blog journey, we are in process of hoping to start a career journey for myself, since I have graduated recently. I've redone my resume and am currently waiting to take state boards, and in process of working on taking my massage therapy boards as well to give me more tools under my belt. Everyone please keep me in your prayers that I find a job that is best for me and hopefully isn't to far of a drive. This is a small town, and I'm worried there aren't any left around here.
As many of you may know we were recently effected by Tropical Storm Debby, to the extent of being evacuated from our home for 5-6 weeks. We still cannot use our water for drinking or bathing Ayla, and have treated our well twice now. We are hoping the next time will be the charm. Debby also ruined my Honda Accord I had bought in February and I just recently bought a new one. Luckily our homes were not ruined on the inside. Our A/C duct work had to be replaced though and the house is going to have to be releveled. With the storm out there now, and according to the farmer's almanac another one following it in September, I'm praying this doesn't happen again.
We recently took a mini vacation to St Augustine for the weekend, and Ayla had her first real beach experience. She absolutely loved it. The salt and the sand didn't bother her a bit.
Ayla is growing like a weed. She is 15 months old, walking everywhere, climbing on everything, and her vocabulary consists of: Da (dad), Ma (mom), No!, Ay (Ace) and Goc (Doc) (our dogs), Paw Paw (Josh's dad), Get!, Uh oh!, Uh huh, Bye bye, hey, and many more that she makes her own. She is smart as a whip, she must get it from her mother :) . She finally loves it when you paint her toe nails. She will bring a bottle of polish to you and giggle the entire time you paint them. She is her MiMi's child! (Josh's mother, who gets pedicures all the time) :) I just took some 15 month pictures of her in an outfit she got for her birthday. A yellow tank top with embellished rhinestones in the shape of a tractor with her name on it, and a green and yellow tutu, topped off with her camo boots. :) I will update the blog as often as possible, if not daily then weekly. Miss everyone that doesn't live here. And love you all.
